Past continuous tense in Hindi to english, rules, formula, examples, exercise पढ़ेंगे इससे पहले हम past indefinite tense पढ़ चुके हैं।

past continuous tense rules in Hindi-

• Past continuous tense sentence के अंत में रहा था रही थी रहे थे आदि शब्द आते हैं।
• past continuous tense में काम लगातार हो रहा होता है लेकिन समय नहीं दिया जाता है।
• He,she,it के साथ (singular noun) was ka prayog करते हैं।
• I,You,we,they के साथ (plural nouns) were प्रयोग करते हैं।
• Negative sentence मे was/were के बाद not का प्रयोग करते हैं।
• Interrogative sentence मे अगर वह वाक्य क्या शब्द से शुरू होता है तो सबसे पहले was were का प्रयोग करते हैं।
• अगर वाक्य के बीच में क्या, कब, कैसे प्रश्न वाचक शब्द होते हैं तो वाक्य की शुरुआत What When Who, Whom,whose,Where, सर्वप्रथम अंग्रेजी अनुवाद करें।
• Interrogative sentence में प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह ? वाक्य के अंत में जरूर लगाएं।

1-मैं कल कानपुर जा रहा था
   I was going to the kanpur tommorow

2-कल वर्षा हो रही थी
   It was raining yesterday

3-मैं कल गंगा जी में स्नान कर रहा था
   I was bathing in the ganga yesterday

4-वह अपने कपड़े धो रही थी
   She was washing her clothes

5-तुम कल अपनी नौकरी नौकरी को पीट रहे थे
   You were beating your servant

6-फुटबॉल खेल रहे थे
   They were playing football

7-मैं अपनी किताब पढ़ रहा था
   I was reading my book

8-वह एक मधुर गाना गा रही थी
   She was Singing a sweet song

9-तुम मेरी नौकर को बुला रहे थे
   You were calling my servant

10-हम अपना पाठ याद कर रहे थे
     We were learning our lesson

11-तुम कक्षा में शोर मचा रहे थे।

12-सोहन सड़क पर दौड़ रहा था।

13-वे नदी में नहा रहे थे।

19-लड़के अपना कमरे साफ कर रहे थे।

1-मैं स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था
   I was not going to school

2-वह पत्र नहीं लिख रहा था
   He was not write a letter

3-वे दरवाजा नहीं खोल रहे थे
They were not opening the door

4-वह एक कार नहीं खरीद रहा था
   He was not buying a car

5-तुम खाना नहीं खा रहे थे
   You are not eating food

6-राधा खाना नहीं बना रही थी
   Radha was not cooking food

7-वह सो नहीं रहा था
   He was not sleeping

8-तुम तेज दौड़ नहीं रही थी
You were not running fast
